Two unit Bridge
This patient had been wearing a partial acrylic denture to cover two missing teeth which had increasingly become loose and uncomfortable.
He came to Mr Watson looking for an alternative solution to a denture and was delighted after he placed a two tooth metal free bridge over a single DIO implant. The resulting smile was much more natural and felt as fixed in place as his natural teeth once more.
Full arch reconstruction
Unfortunately, all of this patient’s upper teeth had been lost due to periodontal disease. She was keen to look at more permanent alternatives to dentures. Mr Watson placed 6 implants on the patients upper arch, together with a fixed bridge which provided a very natural look and a very secure feeling. The patient was overjoyed with the result, which meant that she could eat what she wanted and smile very naturally once more.
Single Lateral Tooth
This young lady has a beautiful smile and was devastated when she lost her front tooth. Mr Watson replaced and restored her tooth with an dental implant using a special white zirconia abutment and an Emax® aesthetic crown which provided the best solution in her case to match the rest of her smile. The patient was delighted with the achieved result and her ability to smile broadly again.
Pre Molar Reconstruction
This patient needed to have a tooth removed and was left with an unattractive space close to the front of his mouth. Mr Watson placed a dental implant, and in addition he used bone substitute in order to improve the appearance of his gums when he smiled, as seen in the left hand photograph. As a result this patient was completely delighted with the cosmetic result and also the function of his tooth which felt completely natural to him. This patient is a teacher and it was important to him that he could address his students with confidence.
Five Unit Bridge
As a successful sales executive, this gentleman felt embarrassed about his badly fitting denture which was used to cover the five missing teeth in his upper jaw. The patient’s own dentist referred him to Mr Watson to recommend the best solution to restore his confidence in his smile.
Mr Watson placed three implants and five teeth were fitted as a five unit bridge.
The patient was delighted by the look and feel of his new teeth, and completely restored his confidence when meeting his clients.

Eva was referred to the practice as she had recently lost her lower anterior teeth. Numerous dentures had been constructed in the past for Eva but due to the lack of the lower ridge height her dentures were very loose and unstable. This affected her facial appearance and more importantly ability to eat properly.
We elected to place the narrowest mini implants available in the limited bone.
The placement of the mini implants took 20 minutes under a local anaesthetic.
Our excellent clinical technician, David spent considerable time ensuring the denture was exactly as Eva requested.
Eva was delighted with the results. 12 months on the denture is very retentive and the mini implants are in excellent health.
Eva can now eat anything she wants.

Technically difficult treatment
This lady had a partial denture for many years and was desperate to have teeth and no denture plate. The treatment was technically difficult as the teeth had been missing for many years. A cone beam ct scan was acquired to aid placement of the implants and achieved the excellent results seen here.
